I started at KTM as a controller with a focus on business intelligence. After around 5 years, I became head of department; in this capacity, I was able to get to know the company in great detail, as well as to gather experience with projects abroad. A few years later, I got the opportunity to switch to IT as head of department. As Head of Master Data Governance, I am currently responsible for all data-relevant topics and run 4 teams with a total of 14 employees.
The coolest thing about my job is that I am very close to new technologies. However, their powerful momentum also brings the greatest challenges in my area. This makes my job very varied.
My highlight at KTM was the introduction of two central software systems within a year. We were able to put both systems into operation without impeding growth or even paralyzing the company. We were rewarded in a special way for the successful completion of these projects: We were allowed to ride a KTM X-BOW at the Red Bull Ring.
KTM offers extensive further training possibilities, both on and off the job. Employees can also contribute their own ideas for further training measures at any time. You can develop your technical expertise, take on a specialist role or even take on managerial responsibility.
“Ready to Race is not just a slogan to us – it also describes our working style: short communication paths, quick decisions! The working climate at KTM is friendly. There is a real sense of community here, and the team concept is at the forefront.
I also think that the company size of KTM is ideal. We can combine the advantages of a personal environment in many areas with the possibilities of a large company.
KTM is the right employer for you if you like working in a dynamic environment and don’t have a problem with changes.
For me, career means ... not standing still! I would like continually to learn new things and work on new topic areas.
