Senior Calculation Engineer Thermodynamic Engine (m/w)

However, before our motorcycles come on to the market, they must comply with certain legal regulations – and this is where you come in! As an employee in the Regulatory Affairs department, you will be responsible for research, the development of regulations, standards and norms and for future requirements.

Tasks

  • thermodynamic calculation for the overall design of our engine configuration with 1D gasdynamic tools
  • acoustic calculation and sound design
  • calculation of 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines for serial production and motorsport
  • analyze of the calculation results and development of advanced calculation methods
  • presentation of the calculation results and utilization of optimization potentials
  • validation of the model setup within several component and engine test facilities

Profile

  • completed technical training specializing in mechatronics or electrical engineering (higher technical institute, technical university, university of applied sciences) with at least 5 years of professional experience
  • mind. 5 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung
  • experience with MS-Office, CAD Creo Wildfire, CFD Tools and expert knowledge for GT Power and Ricardo Wave
  • expert knowledge of thermodynamic objectives for combustion engines
  • very good English skills
  • an independent, self-reliant and analytical way of working as well as complete reliability
