KTM in 3 words: variety, challenge and fun
After secondary technical school, I started at KTM in development administration. A few years later, I decided to start a degree at the Joanneum University of Applied Sciences. I then returned to KTM for my internship and my Master’s degree. I was subsequently taken on and, since then, I have been responsible for electronic control and rider assistance systems as a development engineer.
The coolest thing about my job are the varied tasks. I don’t have a classic office job, because I also work in the workshop and I test the latest developments with the motorbike on the road. My tasks are highly varied and consist of project management activities, programming, test unit construction, test organization and implementation. I also enjoy the many business trips! KTM offers me the possibility of turning my hobby into a profession.
The special thing about KTM is the loyalty of the employees and the spirit that is lived out here. There is a very cooperative, friendly and open interaction. Working at KTM is demanding, but also extremely exciting. You can feel that everyone wants to build a brilliant motorcycle.
During my time at KTM, I have been able to attend lots of further training courses for the software programs that we use. I also regularly take part in rider training courses. Professional development measures are almost always made possible for us at KTM.
For me, it is always a highlight when I am approached by external individuals during test rides and feel the enthusiasm for our work and for the KTM brand that they have, too. It always becomes clear to me then how exciting my job is.
I recommend KTM as an employer, particularly to young people who are motivated to drive things forward and who have the necessary flexibility. We are a very dynamic company. It can sometimes happen that there is a significant modification shortly before the project end, and you have to throw yourself into it.
“Ready to Race” is not just a slogan; you can feel it in all our products!
