Gain first insights into the world champions factory

As an intern, you will benefit from the experience of our specialists. From the outset you will be well integrated within the company and get to work on real projects. As a student, coming to KTM is highly beneficial to kick start your career as the real world experience you will gain will put you one step ahead of the competition.


Summer internships

Every year you can get to know our company during the summer holidays for 4, 8, or 12 weeks. Applications can be submitted via our online platform under Vacant Positions from the end of December to the end of April. We will notify you of any work opportunities by the end of May. Summer internships are possible in a range of specialist areas. Please specify the area which would interest you most in your letter of application.

A prerequisite for the internship is a work permit which can only be obtained if you are registered as a student at an Austrian university. 


Student internships and degree thesis

We regularly offer internships in different specialist departments. As an intern, you can work on real projects, benefit from the experience of our specialists, and will be well integrated into the company right from the start. In most cases, internships and completing a degree are linked and constitute the initial foundation for a subsequent career with us. Specific job advertisements can be found under Vacant Positions.

Dual master's degree in Automotive Mechatronics & Management

As the ultimate combination of theory and practice, we offer a dual master’s program in Automotive Mechatronics & Management in cooperation with University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Wels. During your studies, you can already work part-time for us. What else makes this an attractive option? Top-class lecturers from the automotive industry, top laboratory equipment at the University of Applied Sciences, and the fixed degree duration of four semesters, as well as producing your master thesis in cooperation with us. Dual bachelor program: Intelligent Production Engineering

From Rookie to Champion! In cooperation with the FH Wels, we offer the dual bachelor program Intelligent Production Engineering. You want to combine theory and practice? With a fixed study duration of 6 semesters, you can already work full-time with us during your studies in blocked business practice phases. And that's not all! You can expect top training, interesting company projects, exclusive insight into the production of our motorcycles, as well as the bachelor thesis in cooperation with us!
